Women should come forward inspired by Savitribai Phule, says Goodavaram Ailayya Goud.

In India, Savitribai Jyotirao Phule is a guiding light for women's education, said former councilor and Congress leader Gudavaramma Ailayya Goud. She spoke at an event held to commemorate the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule at the Jagadgirigutta office in Kuthbullapur.

She highlighted that Savitribai Phule was a great figure who recognized the need for education for women and initiated the first schools for girls without caste and religious discrimination. She called upon women to move forward inspired by her legacy. She also noted that the Revanth Reddy government’s emphasis on women's education and providing scooters to girls is commendable.

Several leaders and women participated in the event, paying rich tributes to Savitribai Phule.
