Egg prices have dropped in Hyderabad following a rate revision by the National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC). Traders say the decline is due to surplus supply in local markets after export demand slowed in recent days. According to poultry market sources, wholesale egg prices have fallen across several markets in and around Hyderabad. Retail prices have also slightly decreased, bringing relief to consumers. However, poultry farmers have expressed concern over the sudden fall in rates, stating that production costs remain high. Industry experts say prices may stabilize once demand improves and export orders resume. Officials from NECC said they are closely monitoring the market and will review prices depending on supply and demand conditions.
