HCA Announces 14-Day Open Selection Trials for 2026–27 Season; 6,000 Applicants to Be Slotted in Batches

HCA announces 2026-27 open selection trials over 14 days after 6000 registrations. Around 1500 duplicates removed. 300 players per day will be called via email slots only shortlist

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has announced the schedule for its Open Selection Trials for the 2026–27 season, which will be conducted over a span of 14 days.

The association reported an overwhelming response, with nearly 6,000 players registering for the trials. After verification, around 1,500 duplicate or repeated Aadhaar entries were identified and removed to ensure a clean and fair selection process.

 To manage the large participation efficiently, HCA will call approximately 300 players per day, dividing them into structured time slots for smooth conduct of trials.

🕒 Trial Schedule (Daily Format) Morning Session:

 Players 1–50: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Players 51–100: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Players 101–150: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Players 151–200: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Evening Session:

 Players 201–250: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Players 251–300: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

All shortlisted players have been strictly instructed to wait for official email communication from the HCA regarding their slot, reporting time, and trial date. The association has clearly stated that no player should report to the ground without official confirmation.

 Participants are required to report at least 30 minutes before their allotted time slot, and late reporting may affect participation.

The HCA stated that the structured scheduling has been designed to ensure fair opportunity, crowd control, and smooth execution of trials

. Further updates and instructions will be shared directly to the registered email IDs of applicants.
