₹26-Crore Hitech City Railway Station Modernisation Completed Under Amrit Station Scheme

Hitech City Railway Station's ₹26 crore revamp is complete, delivering modern facilities and improved commuter experience ahead of its official inauguration.

The modernisation of Hitech City Railway Station under the Centre's Amrit Station Scheme has been completed at a cost of ₹26 crore, with the station now ready for inauguration.

Upgraded with world-class passenger amenities, the station features a modern entrance, a new station building, a 12-metre-wide foot overbridge, additional lifts and escalators, a waiting hall, improved platforms, enhanced drinking water and drainage facilities, accessible infrastructure for persons with disabilities, upgraded toilets, landscaping, façade lighting and better passenger signage.

 Serving nearly 3,000 passengers daily, the station is a key suburban rail hub connecting Hyderabad's IT corridor with Secunderabad, Lingampally and other major destinations. The redevelopment aims to deliver a safer, smarter and more comfortable travel experience for commuters.
