Shri Sumithra Acharya, popularly known as Maharaj, is recognized as a prominent astrologer and author in India. His followers claim that he has accurately predicted incidents such as the Maha Kumbh tragedy and the Myanmar tragedy. He is also known for his expertise in Vastu and astrology.

However, political circles and experts are responding to these comments, stating that they are merely astrological predictions and have no relation to actual political developments. They clarify that, according to the Constitution of India, the collapse of the central government can only occur through losing the majority in Parliament or through election results.
