A special award distribution ceremony was held today at the RPF Training Centre in Moula-Ali, Hyderabad, to honour officers and staff of the Railway Protection Force of South Central Railway for their outstanding service and dedication in duty.
On the occasion, IG-cum-Principal Chief Security Commissioner of RPF, South Central Railway, Ms. Aroma Singh Thakur presented the Director General RPF Railway Board Insignia and Commendation Certificates to the officials and personnel. A total of 26 officers and staff received the DG’s Insignia and Commendation Certificates for their exemplary performance during the Republic Day Parade 2024 and 2025, as well as for their remarkable service during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. Senior Divisional Security Commissioner of Hyderabad, Ms. Debashmita C. Banerjee was also honoured for winning the prestigious Prime Minister’s Silver Cup Case Study.
During the ceremony, six RPF officials were presented with DG’s Commendation Certificates for their significant contribution to the successful conduct of the 26th All India Police Band Competition hosted under the aegis of South Central Railway. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Aroma Singh Thakur congratulated the awardees and appreciated their dedication, professionalism and commitment towards ensuring the safety and security of railway passengers and railway prproper the ceremony was attended by senior RPF officers, staff members and 204 trainee Sub-Inspector cadets who witnessed the event during the parade at the training centre.
