Hyderabad | March 20, 2026 News Report: The Telangana government on Friday unveiled a massive ₹3.24 lakh crore Budget for the financial year 2026–27 in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, laying strong emphasis on infrastructure growth, welfare programs, and long-term development under the “Telangana Rising 2047” vision. Presenting the Budget, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka highlighted the government’s commitment to accelerating economic growth while ensuring inclusive development. The total expenditure marks a nearly 20% increase compared to the previous fiscal year, reflecting an expansionary fiscal approach. A key highlight of the Budget is the allocation of ₹47,267 crore towards capital expenditure, aimed at strengthening core infrastructure across the state.
