The Maha Kumbhabhishekam celebrations at the Kanakadurga Temple on Indrakeeladri have reached their second day. The worship activities conducted in the Yagashala on Saturday evening further enhanced the spiritual atmosphere. From four o'clock in the evening, the Vedic scholars and priests commenced the Moola Mantra Havan with grandeur.
In these homa ceremonies conducted for the welfare of the world and the re-establishment of the divine power of the goddess, the chanting of Vedic mantras resonated, transforming the surroundings of the Yagashala into a devotional ambiance. Subsequently, the Peetha Pujas were performed according to the scriptures during the Pradoshakalams. Special worship was offered to the goddess, who embodies power, with archana using the Moola Mantra and Ashtottara Shatanamavali. In the evening, the surroundings of the Yagashala were illuminated with camphor aarthis.
Amidst the Vedic mantras, a Mantra Pushpam was offered to the deity, and prayers were made for the well-being of all devotees.
