Officials in Andhra Pradesh are focusing more on the facilities provided to devotees in temples. Based on reports from the RTGS department, which is collecting feedback from devotees through IVRS calls, officials believe that improvements are particularly needed in drinking water facilities and sanitation management. Following the directives issued by the Commissioner of the Endowments Department, this morning, the temple EO, Sheenanaik, conducted an on-site inspection with engineering officials of the temple. During this visit, he examined the drinking water supply system, sanitation conditions, and the basic facilities available to devotees from the Ghat Road Om Point to the inner area of the main temple.
He issued instructions to the relevant officials to take immediate action where necessary. In light of the severity of the summer, he directed that cool paint and coir mats be arranged to prevent discomfort to devotees.
He also specified the need to set up shade canopies, cooling centers, and buttermilk distribution points to provide relief to devotees. The inspection program was attended by Executive Engineer L. Ramadevi, AEO N. Ramesh Babu, and other officials.
