Former Uppal Corporator Mandumula Rajitha Parameshwar Reddy stated that the establishment of Srujana School in the Uppal area marks the beginning of a new change in the education sector. He credited the founder of Srujana School, K. Sh. Raghunandan Reddy, for making English medium private education accessible to children from poor and middle-class families.
The annual celebration of Srujana High School held at Shilparamam in Uppal was grand. Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Rajitha Parameshwar Reddy remarked, “Raghunandan Reddy has led Srujana School not as a business, but with a sense of service and charity.” She also urged family members to continue the spirit of educational service.
In her speech at the gathering, Rajitha Parameshwar Reddy expressed her desire for the slogan “Leave the intoxication – come to the field, leave the intoxication – prove your worth with education” to become a guiding principle for the next generation, rather than just words. Her address was thought-provoking for parents, teachers, and students.
Emphasizing the need for value-based education from a young age, she referenced the proverb “A bent tree cannot be straightened” and called for instilling values, discipline, and a sense of responsibility in children from an early age. She suggested that parents should not only pay fees but also spend time with their children and be mindful of their friends' behaviors.
“Schools are temples.. Teachers are guides” She opined that if teachers enforce discipline for the well-being of children, the tendency to misunderstand it should change. Reflecting on her childhood experiences, she stated, “The discipline of teachers brought me to this level.” She mentioned that only if schools are regarded as temples and education is pursued with dedication can students achieve a bright future. She concluded that only through coordinated efforts of teachers and parents can changes occur during the student phase, leading to the construction of a better society.
