Hyderabad, April 5: In a significant step towards strengthening judicial infrastructure in Telangana, the foundation stone for the new High Court Zone-II building was laid at Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district by Justice Surya Kant. The event witnessed the presence of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy along with Supreme Court judges Justice P. S. Narasimha, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Justice S. Venkatanarayana Bhatti, and Justice Alok Aradhe. Telangana High Court Chief Justice Justice Apresh Kumar Singh attended the ceremony along with Justice P. Sam Koshy and several sitting judges. Former Chief Justice of India N. V. Ramana and former Supreme Court judge Justice Subhash Reddy were also present, marking the importance of the occasion. Senior government officials including Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy, along with legal luminaries and retired judges, participated in the event. The new High Court Zone-II complex will be developed as part of a massive Judicial City planned over 100 acres. As part of the ceremony, a detailed photo exhibition showcasing architectural models and layouts of the proposed judicial buildings was also inaugurated. The project is expected to enhance judicial capacity, improve access to justice, and support the growing legal needs of Telangana.
