Hyderabad, April 21:

Reinforcing the state’s commitment to farmer welfare, Revanth Reddy on Tuesday announced the release of the second installment of funds under the flagship Rythu Bharosa scheme. The initiative, aimed at ensuring financial stability for farmers, continues to play a crucial role in strengthening agriculture across Telangana.

Addressing a large gathering of farmers at Nasturupalli village in Katram mandal of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, the Chief Minister emphasized that Rythu Bharosa is not just a welfare scheme but a transformative step toward making Telangana’s agricultural model an inspiration for the entire country. Thousands of farmers attended the event, reflecting the scheme’s widespread impact and acceptance.

Under the program, the state government disburses nearly ₹9,000 crore every agricultural season directly into farmers’ bank accounts. With the latest release, the total amount credited so far under the first and second installments has reached ₹5,700 crore, offering timely financial support for crop investments and seasonal needs.

Revanth Reddy reiterated that the government’s vision is to keep farmlands productive and farmers financially secure throughout the year. He noted that such direct benefit transfers not only reduce dependency on loans but also empower farmers to make independent decisions about their cultivation practices.

The Rythu Bharosa scheme continues to be a cornerstone of Telangana’s pro-farmer governance, reflecting the administration’s focus on rural development, agricultural sustainability, and economic resilience.
