New Delhi: A horrifying crime has shocked Delhi after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped and stabbed to death, with her decomposed body later found dumped in a field near Kushak Road. Police have apprehended four suspects, including three juveniles, in connection with the case.
The shocking discovery was made on September 13, when locals alerted police after seeing stray dogs attacking a body in the field. Police said the body was badly decomposed and mutilated, with one hand severed and parts of the body apparently eaten by dogs. A medical examination subsequently confirmed rape, while investigators found multiple stab wounds on the victim's body, police said.

50+ CCTV Cameras Scanned
With no apparent eyewitnesses, Delhi Police examined footage from more than 50 CCTV cameras. Investigators traced a suspected tempo moving through the area and eventually identified and apprehended the suspects. Police said two knives, clothing allegedly linked to the crime and the tempo were recovered.
The four accused are reportedly aged between 16 and 19, with three being juveniles. A case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act.
The investigation is continuing, while authorities are examining the circumstances leading to the brutal killing.
